The company "BATAGIANNIS EE" is the continuation of a family company founded in the mid-1950s by George Ilias Batagiannis with Athanasios and Spyridoula Fitsiu as partners. This company had as its object the representation of large Greek and foreign companies such as the BP Hellas fuel company, Halyvourgiki (structural iron for buildings), Chalkidos Cement.
In 1988, Athanasios Batagiannis (Georgio's son) joined the company, after completing his studies in Economics, while the Fitsios family had left a little later, Athanasios' wife, Eleni Katehaki. Through the succession situation, the involvement with Lubricants, spare parts, car care products trade branch, having as the main brand the lubricants of the well-known company B.R. (British Petroleum), while I also retained some of the previous items:representation of BP, marketing of structural iron as a partner of SIDENOR SA (BIOHALCO group) instead of Halyvourgiki which was in decline. At the same time, a new branch was added (maintained until today), of the transport of liquid fuel with Public Use tanks to filling stations of the B.R. fuel company. which today has been absorbed by the EL.PE group. In 2001, our collaboration began with the Greek lubricants company CYCLON - LPC, a member of the MOTOR OIL group (owned by the Vardinogiannis family) and in the following years it became the main lubricants brand of the company until today, while the lubricants brands remained to a lesser extent B.P. and Castrol. At the same time, the range of products that our company had increased through collaborations with Greek production units or product importers, such as: Polarchem, production of chemicals - cleaners for car washes, Macota and Stac Plastic, Italian companies of car care items (polishes, anti-rust agents, ethers, perfumes), MANN FILTER and FIBA (Oil, air, diesel filters), BERGA (German car batteries).
In 2018, Iliana Batayiannis, daughter of Athanassios, entered as a shareholder in the company and took over the branch of Lubricants and related items. The new name of the company is: "ATH.G. BATAGIANNIS EE".
In 2023 our company participated with its own stand in the agricultural equipment exhibition in Larissa: "Agrothessaly 2023" starting the expansion of its customer network throughout Thessaly. Οcustomers are largely farmers, production units that have vehicles or machines that require lubrication, technical companies, petrol stations, vehicle workshops, agricultural supply companies, motorists.
Our company has offices in the center of Trikalon ( 5 Tsitsani Street ), leased warehouse 300 m2 in Loggaki Trikala, two vans with two salesmen who serve daily the growing network of customers throughout Thessaly. At the same time, it maintains some of its traditional objects, such as the transport of liquid fuels, trading of structural iron.
With this website and similar moves that will follow (e.g. e-shop) we are trying to enter the electronic sector trade and online transactions that will dominate in the coming years with the main goal being the most direct service to our customer, the quality of our products, the competitiveness of prices.
